Shkodra Elektronike is a music project by two Albanian immigrants raised in Italy, far from their hometown of Shkodër. It’s led by producer-songwriter Kolë Laca and singer-songwriter Beatriçe Gjergji.
Rooted in nostalgia and cultural memory, the duo blends traditional Albanian motifs with contemporary electronic production, creating a sound that feels both ancestral and forward-looking. Their music is deeply influenced by the distance from home—emotionally charged, introspective, and shaped by the experience of growing up between cultures.
Shkodra Elektronike gained wide national recognition through their standout success at Festivali i Këngës, Albania’s most prestigious music competition. Their bold artistic identity, distinctive sound, and uncompromising vision resonated strongly with both juries and audiences, marking them as one of the most compelling acts to emerge from the festival in recent years.
Following this success, the duo was selected to represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, bringing their unique fusion of electronic music and Albanian heritage to an international stage. Their participation signals a new chapter for Albanian music—one that confidently bridges tradition and experimentation, local roots and global presence.
